A note on written assignments:

All written assignments (except for the Self Assessment and Portfolio) will be uploaded to Blackboard (I would prefer not to use BB at all, but it streamlines the grading process to do it this way). Please UPLOAD either a PDF or a Word Document–do not copy and paste the text into the submission box. If you do that it messes with the formatting of the document.

The document that you upload should be titled “Name of Assignment First Name Last Name,” for example: Literacy Narrative Sam Bellamy

Each assignment should have your name, the class name, and the date in the upper left corner. Each assignment should have a title that is centered above the text.

Every writing assignment should be in 12pt, Times New Roman font, double spaced, with 1 inch margins (this margin setting is the automatic setting on a Word document).

If you receive lower than a C on a writing assignment and would like to revise it, you are welcome to (you may do this with as many assignments as you’d like). If you decide to revise, please make sure that you meet with my beforehand so that we can discuss the revision.
